B.O.S.S. Fastpitch is proud to announce our merger with The Harlem Community Center!

The 2011 Fall Fastpitch League will now be played at the HCC Sports Complex.


Fall Ball Rules 2011

Revised 8/24/11

  • We will be following USSSA rules.

  • run limit through 4 innings.

  • Unlimited runs after the 4th inning.

  • Unlimited defensive substitutions except for “pitchers”. After being removed from the “pitcher” position, a player may re-enter as “pitcher” one time during the game.

  • Continuous batting order (all players bat).

  • No inning limit for pitchers.

  • Stealing home is allowed on passed balls and play attempts on runners in the field of play.

  • Teams must start with 8 players.

  • Any player running late will be added to bottom of the line-up.

  • Games will consist of 7 innings.

  • No new inning will start after 1 hour and 30 minutes during regular season. No time limit for the tournament.

  • In case of a tie ball game at the end of regulation, teams will start a new inning with 0 outs and a player on 2nd base.

  • The mercy rule is 10 runs after 5 innings (4 ½ if home team is ahead).

  • Harlem Community Center reserves the right to add, change, modify, or delete any rule or rules at any point during the season.

    • FACE GUARDS ON BATTING HELMETS ARE RECOMMENDED!!!

    Slaughter Rule

    Slaughter Rule will be in 10runs after 5inning(4-1/2 Innings if home team is ahead).


    Pitcher Re-entry Rule

    Unlimited defensive substitutions except for “pitchers”. After being removed from the “pitcher” position, a player may re-enter as “pitcher” one time during the game.


    Playoffs go 7 Innings unless slaughter rule. No time limit!
